Rick Camp     Music

Rick Camp has been involved in the music scene for over parts of five decades. Starting as a guitarist in the Kansas City area, he played with several bands in the early stages of his venture into music.  He was captivated  by the thrill of creating and performing and was hooked! This lead him to expand his interests to include drumming and bass guitar as he continued to develop his guitar skills.  Along with the many projects he has been involved with as a guitarist, he was a drummer in a few different bands and bassist in a blues band. Over the years he has recorded on several original music projects providing guitar, bass guitar, drums and vocals tracks.

 

The focus of his journey has been as a guitarist, both rhythm and lead, with the emphasis on the electric guitar. Rick has had the privilege of collaborating and honing his craft with many talented musicians. His daughter Bonnie teamed up with him on the first album, StormBound, which was the first release from Rick Camp Music Productions in May of 2020. Her amazing vocals put the finishing touch on the original music he was in the process of creating.

 

Now is a new era in Rick's continuing journey into the realm of music and all associated with it. He has expanded his repertoire in the area of recording and producing new musical works collaborating with other talented musicians on their projects. Rick is looking to the future for the many new opportunities to delve into the exciting world of music and associate with people who he has a lot in common with. Thanks for visiting the site! Cheers!
